Introduction

Following completion of the demolition phase of the Frankfurt facility, ISG secured the complete fit out of the fourth floor which the client was relocating from the second floor.

The project

The fourth floor included a reception area, offices (single and open-plan), conference rooms and a relaxation zone (HUB) with kitchen. The joinery works for the custom-made tea-kitchens and reception area were extensive.

High-quality light strips and flexibility allowing mobile partitions were installed in the conference zones, and glass walls installed in the hall areas. Due to the new room layout the entire HVAC system had to be removed and replaced, which meant that all units located on the roof had to be renewed.

ISG also co-ordinated the companies directly contracted by the client for security, media technology and IT, a task which required careful logistical planning due to the short timeframe.

The requirement for this new space was based on modern workplace requirements (desk sharing) and creating an attractive reception area and conference rooms.

The work had to be carried out during building operation and required a high degree of logistic coordination.

The additional installation of a cooling unit on the roof also required accurate planning and implementation.
